Lego Shaped Party Favors Galore

I've been keeping busy on the party circuit lately - not just birthdays, but end-of-the-year school parties and such. I have made lots of bricks and minifigures this past month and have had so much fun just thinking about the kids who will be so excited when they realize what they are getting. I know my own kids LOVE these, so I can only hope other kids react the same way. It's the whole reason I started my "crayon obsession" as my husband has started calling it.

Here are a few pictures of this past week's send-outs. Each one was a custom order that included sets made for the boys and sets made for the girls. I have to admit, I love making PINK bricks the most. And, yes, I realize I need to take a few photography classes - sorry that my pictures are either too bright or too shadowy.

I'm thinking about making a mini-favor size (2 bricks per package OR 2 figures per package OR 1 brick, 1 figure per package). Although I personally like to think in the case of crayons, "more is better," but I also know that for the cost-conscious party host, a set of 2 crayons for only $1 could be just perfect for adding to the goodie bag without breaking the budget. It could also be good Halloween treats, school prizes, etc.
Opinions, anyone? I aim to please!

And now there are 10 colors per "classic" set

Somehow in my haste to make bricks and get a set together, I skipped the color BROWN. I realized it right away, but have only just now taken the time to edit things on my listings and add a new picture with a set of 10 bricks in "classic" colors that includes brown. Sorry, Mr. Brown, didn't meant to leave ya out.

Patriotic Stars = Fourth of July Fun!

Star Shaped Crayons are so much fun! I recently made this color combo of Red, White, and Blue especially for 4th of July party favors, table decorations, and more. These would be so cute at adults or kids tables set with white butcher block paper tablecloths or even paper placemats that would be perfect for scribbling on during party time.

Star Shaped Crayons are great for toddler hands to grasp since they are chunky. Kids love coloring with the different "spokes" of the star.

Star Shaped Crayons can be made in any color combination - most popular so far is the "Rainbow" colors - you get all the colors of the rainbow in one fun Star!

Bright Colors: Tropical Sets

These are fun, bright colors that are just in time for summer. I have also found these to be popular colors for girly sets.

Colors include: Ocean Blue, Tropical Yellow, Bright Orange, Flower Pink, Tropical Green. Another option not pictured that matches great with this set is the Bright Lime (green).

The Coloring Wheel

This first post will be short but sweet. Please bear with me as I learn how to blog! I plan to use this blog as a place to put all my latest crayon creations in pictures. If you see something you'd like to order, just e-mail me at nicolebang@gmail.com

I plan to add and expand the variety of products as I am able. So far, my Lego brick shaped crayons and Lego figure shaped crayons are the hottest selling commodity. I'll post more pictures soon. This crayon recycling/repurposing project is turning into a fun hobby. Also pictured in this post are a few other of my shapes like the Large Flower, Star Shaped, and Circles. These are in the fun "Rainbow" mix of colors - all the colors of the rainbow in one crayon makes each coloring experience totally new and fun since you never know which color comes next!

If you have crayons you would like to save from filling up the landfills, please don't toss them in the garbage. Toss them in a US Postal Service flat rate box instead and send them to me in the mail. E-mail me for more details. Thanks!
